The room
Exchange sits on Old Market, a short walk east of Cabot Circus, and is run as a community-owned, not-for-profit independent venue — the kind of room that survives on Arts Council support, Music Venue Trust backing and people turning up. Two floors, a stage on each, and a booking policy that leans towards touring indie, punk, psych and hardcore bands on their way up rather than through. Tickets go through Headfirst Bristol. Over-14s at most shows; under-18s with an adult.
