Crypto.com Arena is the multi-purpose indoor arena at 1111 South Figueroa Street in downtown Los Angeles, next to the Los Angeles Convention Center and part of the L.A. Live district. It opened on October 17, 1999 as Staples Center, with Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, and many fans still call it by that name. Owned and operated by AEG, it is home to the Los Angeles Lakers of the NBA, the Los Angeles Kings of the NHL and the WNBA's Los Angeles Sparks; the Clippers also played there from 1999 until moving to Intuit Dome in 2024. It holds 20,000 for concerts, and as of 2026 it had hosted the Grammy Awards 23 times, more than any other venue. The box office sits on Chick Hearn Court beside Star Plaza, where 14 statues of Los Angeles athletes and broadcasters stand.
