Sandy Amphitheater is an open-air amphitheatre in Sandy, a southern suburb of Salt Lake City, Utah. It stages a summer season of touring concerts and community performances, drawing acts such as ZZ Top and Death Cab for Cutie. ZZ Top are that little ol' band from Texas — the Houston blues-rock trio formed in 1969 whose Eliminator (1983) welded boogie to synthesizers and MTV iconography.
