An open-air amphitheater in Bangor, Maine, set within Waterfront Park alongside the Penobscot River. A temporary structure previously known as the Bangor Waterfront Pavilion and Darling's Waterfront Pavilion, it typically runs from July through October and anchors the annual Waterfront Concert Series. ZZ Top are that little ol' band from Texas — the Houston blues-rock trio formed in 1969 whose Eliminator (1983) welded boogie to synthesizers and MTV iconography.
