A 4,300-seat outdoor amphitheater in Kettering, Ohio, opened in 1991 and named after local resident Ermal Fraze, inventor of the pop-top beverage can. The venue draws a steady lineup of popular American and international music artists to its open-air stage. ZZ Top are that little ol' band from Texas — the Houston blues-rock trio formed in 1969 whose Eliminator (1983) welded boogie to synthesizers and MTV iconography.
