The Royal is an Art Moderne cinema and live-events venue on College Street in Toronto's Little Italy, built in 1939. It doubles as a repertory movie house and a stage for concerts and cultural events. Wunderhorse is the raw rock project of Jacob Slater, whose Cub and Midas earned comparisons to Nirvana's ragged honesty and a fast-rising UK following.
