An outdoor amphitheatre in Mansfield, Massachusetts, originally the Great Woods Center for the Performing Arts and still widely called Great Woods. It opened in the summer of 1986 with a 12,000 capacity, later expanded to 19,900 across reserved, lawn and general admission areas. Running mid-May to late September and named Billboard's Top Grossing Amphitheater in 2010, it is chiefly a concert venue. Wu-Tang Clan are hip-hop's most influential collective — the Staten Island crew whose Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers) (1993) rewired rap with RZA's grimy, kung-fu-spliced production and a bench of MCs (Method Man, Ghostface Killah, Raekwon, GZA, ODB) who all became stars in their own right.
