The Chestnut Street room of MilkBoy, an American recording studio and entertainment company founded in 1994 by Tommy Joyner. MilkBoy runs three open mic competitions a year; ten finalists chosen at its South Street bar come here for the live final, and the winner takes a recording contract at the studio. Wild Child are an Austin indie-folk collective led by Kelsey Wilson and Alexander Beggins, whose ukulele-and-strings pop made them local heroes turned national tourers.
