Chicago's lakefront stadium on the Near South Side, opened in 1924 and home of the NFL's Bears since 1971 and MLS's Chicago Fire since 2020. With a football capacity of 62,500, it is the NFL's oldest and second-smallest stadium. A major 2002-03 rebuild modernized the interior but cut seating and led to its 2006 delisting as a National Historic Landmark. It regularly stages large stadium concerts. Usher Raymond IV has been one of the defining voices of American R&B since the 1990s, a singer, songwriter and dancer whose influence runs through hip hop, soul and pop.
