The O2 Arena is the indoor arena at the centre of The O2 entertainment district on the Greenwich Peninsula in south-east London, and is locally referred to simply as The O2. It and the wider complex were built within the former Millennium Dome and it opened in its present form in 2007; the arena building is independent of every other building under the dome and takes up about 40% of the dome structure. It has the third-highest seating capacity of any indoor venue in the United Kingdom, behind Co-op Live and Manchester Arena, and in 2008 it was the world's busiest music arena. Its ground surface converts between ice rink, basketball court, exhibition space and concert venue, and the nearest tube station is North Greenwich on the Jubilee line. UB40 featuring Ali Campbell is the touring group led by Ali Campbell, the original lead singer of Birmingham reggae band UB40, performing hits such as 'Red Red Wine,' 'Kingston Town' and '(I Can't Help) Falling in Love with You' from the band he co-founded in 1978 before departing in 2008.
