A 73,000-square-foot performing arts venue in Clearwater, Florida, in the Tampa Bay area, part of the Richard B. Baumgardner Center for the Performing Arts. Named after Ruth Eckerd, wife of businessman Jack Eckerd, its 2,180-seat auditorium uses continental seating with no center aisle. A regular home for the Florida Orchestra, it also draws touring concerts. The Turnpike Troubadours are a red-dirt country band from Tahlequah, Oklahoma, formed in 2005, blending country, folk and Americana on fan-favourite albums such as Diamonds & Gasoline and Goodbye Normal Street.
