A 1928 movie palace at Flatbush and DeKalb that put on jazz, blues and early rock and roll, closed in 1962, and spent the next six decades as Long Island University's basketball court. Restoration began in 2017 and it reopened as a venue in 2024. Turnover are an American rock band from Virginia Beach, Virginia, formed in 2009 by the brothers Austin and Casey Getz — Austin on vocals and rhythm guitar, Casey on drums — alongside their longtime friend Danny Dempsey on bass.
