Anita's Theatre is a live-music venue in Thirroul, on the New South Wales coast north of Wollongong. Built in 1925 as the King's Theatre and later used as a cinema and roller-skating rink, it was restored and reopened under its present name in 2007 and has been operated by Live Nation since 2022. Richard Clapton is an Australian singer-songwriter and guitarist, born in 1948, whose 1975 hit 'Girls on the Avenue' and a career spanning five decades established him as one of Australia's most enduring rock figures.
