An intimate, independent room in Camden Town, five minutes' walk from the tube, founded in 2005 by two music-loving friends. Folk, Americana, country and bluegrass through to blues, roots, world and jazz, with a gig on every night — plus a vegetarian café-bar and a basement piano bar that give it the feel of a 1960s coffee-shop music parlour. The Voodoo Vendors are a powerhouse blues duo fronted by Sonny West, a prolific songwriter and the frontman of the Congo Faith Healers, who sings and plays guitar and harmonica alongside Jay Tubsman on drums and backing vocals.
