The 400-seat showroom inside the South Point Hotel, Casino & Spa, a resort on Las Vegas Boulevard south of the Las Vegas Strip. The property opened on 22 December 2005 as the South Coast and was renamed the South Point after Michael Gaughan took over its ownership from Boyd Gaming in October 2006. Clint Black was the first major entertainer to play the resort, in February 2006; Ralphie May, Jerry Lewis and Rob Schneider have appeared since, and The Righteous Brothers began a residency there in 2021. The Texas Tenors are a classical crossover vocal trio formed in 2009 by the country singer JC Fisher, the pop singer Marcus Collins and the opera singer John Hagen.
