The largest outdoor music venue in the Indianapolis metropolitan area, at Noblesville, Indiana, with 6,147 seats under a pavilion and 18,000 general-admission lawn places. It opened in 1989 as Deer Creek Music Center on a site along Sand Creek north of exit 210 on Interstate 69, built by Sunshine Promotions and now owned by Live Nation. Pollstar ranked it the world's top concert amphitheatre by annual ticket sales for 2018 and again in 2023. The Strokes are the New York band whose 2001 debut Is This It rebooted rock and roll for the new century and won them a Grammy two decades on.
