Rogers Arena is a multi-purpose arena on Griffiths Way in downtown Vancouver, opened in 1995. It was known as General Motors Place until 2010, and is one of western Canada's main arena-scale concert venues. The Strokes are the New York band whose 2001 debut Is This It rebooted rock and roll for the new century and won them a Grammy two decades on.
