The Great Hall is the main auditorium of the Auckland Town Hall on Queen Street in central Auckland, New Zealand, opened in 1911 and modelled on Leipzig's Gewandhaus. Seating about 1,500 and celebrated for acoustics rated among the world's finest, it hosts orchestral concerts, touring artists and recitals on its restored pipe organ. The Rocketman is a dance/electronic act.
