An indoor arena in San Diego, opened in November 1966 and built for $6.4 million by Bob Breitbard. An example of New Formalism architecture, it is designated a historic resource by the City of San Diego and is home to the San Diego Gulls of the American Hockey League. It has carried several names, becoming Pechanga Arena in December 2018. The Red Clay Strays are an Alabama band whose gospel-charged Southern rock broke out with Wondering Why and a reputation as one of America's fiercest live acts.
