The Oval Hall is the main auditorium of Sheffield City Hall, a Grade II*-listed neo-classical building on Barker's Pool in central Sheffield that opened in 1932 to a design by E. Vincent Harris. Seating 2,271, it is the city's principal concert hall and houses the Grand Willis III organ, the largest in Sheffield. The Proclaimers are Scottish twins Craig and Charlie Reid, whose I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles) became one of the most beloved singalongs ever written.
