The National is a live-music and performing-arts venue on East Broad Street in Richmond, Virginia, housed in a 1923 theatre that once screened films as well as staging shows. After years as the Towne Theater cinema it was restored and reopened as The National in 2008, and is the last survivor of Broad Street's original trio of grand auditoriums. The Living Tombstone is an Israeli-American electronic-rock project founded in Tel Aviv in 2011 by Yoav Landau and now based in Los Angeles, whose video-game- and internet-culture-inspired songs — most famously 2014's 'Five Nights at Freddy's' — have drawn hundreds of millions of streams.
