A Grade II-listed live venue at 568–578 Christchurch Road in Bournemouth, Dorset, opened in 1895 as the Grand Pavilion Theatre. Renamed the Boscombe Grand, then the Boscombe Hippodrome for over 50 years, and later The Royal Ballrooms, it hosted Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, David Bowie and more through the 1960s and early 70s, and remains a live entertainment room. SKÁLD are a French project singing in Old Norse, whose Viking-age chants and traditional instruments turned Nordic mythology into a streaming phenomenon.
