A music club at Große Freiheit 58, a few doors off the Reeperbahn, running since 1968 in what used to be a cinema. Eight hundred people, a corner building whose painted façade by Dieter Glasmacher and Werner Nöfer was restored in 1995, and a long history with progressive rock — R.E.M. played a Rockpalast set here in 1998. The Home Team are an American rock four-piece from Seattle, formed in 2013 by Daniel Matson and John Baran.
