Rockefeller Center's Art Deco masterpiece, opened in 1932 with the largest proscenium stage of its era. Home of the Rockettes and the Great Stage, its golden sunburst arches make it one of the most beautiful rooms in live music. The Format were the Arizona indie-pop duo of Nate Ruess (later of fun.) and Sam Means, whose Dog Problems became a cult classic; their reunion shows sold out instantly.
