The Observatory is a Live Nation concert venue at 3503 S. Harbor Blvd. in Santa Ana, CA. It is three rooms rather than one: the main Observatory room, the smaller Constellation Room, and the open-air Observatory Festival Grounds, and the venue lists each show under the room it plays. The Damned released the first UK punk single, New Rose, in 1976, then invented goth with Phantasmagoria — and are still gleefully touring the chaos.
