G Live is an arts centre on London Road in Guildford, Surrey, built on the site of the former Guildford Civic Hall. It opened in September 2011 and was officially opened by Prince Edward, Duke of Kent, in February 2012. Its main auditorium holds between 1,000 and 1,700 people depending on the layout, and the smaller Bellerby Studio holds 100. The Amy Winehouse Band is led by Dale Davis, Winehouse's long-time musical director and bassist, and brings back the original members of her band to perform her work in her honour: guitarist Hawi Gondwe, drummer Nathen Allen, Henry Collins on trumpet and Ade Omotayo on additional vocals.
