The main music venue inside the Lion Arts Centre on the corner of North Terrace and Morphett Street, in Adelaide's West End. The centre occupies a state heritage-listed 1906 red-brick federation building by Frank Counsell, once the Lion Factory of the wholesale grocers D. & J. Fowler Ltd, and now holds studios, galleries and performance spaces alongside the venue. Strung Out is an American punk rock band from Simi Valley, California, formed in 1989 and known for fusing melodic hardcore punk with heavy-metal technicality.
