A Grade II listed concert venue in Ardwick Green, Manchester, known locally simply as The Apollo. Formerly the Manchester Apollo and ABC Ardwick, it holds 3,500, split between 2,514 standing and 986 seats, making it one of the city's most enduring mid-to-large touring rooms. Squeeze are the South London band of Difford & Tilbrook, whose kitchen-sink pop classics Up the Junction and Tempted made them Britain's great post-punk songwriting partnership.
