A theatre on Forest Street in Medford, Massachusetts, housed in the former Medford High School. The building went up between 1894 and 1896 and was enlarged by an addition in 1914, a north wing in 1929 and a south wing ten years after that. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983, and the city sold it to a property developer in 1984 for conversion; it now holds condominiums alongside the theatre. Smokey Robinson is an American R&B and soul singer-songwriter, born William Robinson Jr. in Detroit in 1940 and one of the architects of the Motown sound.
