OVO Arena Wembley is a 12,500-seat indoor arena at Arena Square on Engineers Way in Wembley Park, Greater London. It opened on 25 July 1934 as the Empire Pool, built for that year's British Empire Games to a design by the engineer Sir Owen Williams, and it is Greater London's second-largest indoor arena after the O2. It closed in February 2005 for a fourteen-month refurbishment costing £35 million, and is used today for music, comedy, family entertainment and sport. Simple Plan are a Canadian rock band formed in Montreal, Quebec, in 1999, with a line-up of Pierre Bouvier on lead vocals, Chuck Comeau on drums, Jeff Stinco on lead guitar and Sébastien Lefebvre on rhythm guitar.
