The Mother Church of Country Music: an 1892 gospel tabernacle whose pews and legendary acoustics hosted the Grand Ole Opry from 1943 to 1974. Playing the Ryman — and stepping into its circle of worn wood — is country music's holiest rite. Sierra Hull is a Tennessee mandolin prodigy who debuted at the Grand Ole Opry at ten and became the first woman to win IBMA Mandolin Player of the Year.
