A theatre at 244–250 Tremont Street, in the heart of Boston's historic theatre district, opened in 1914 and renovated in 2008. It seats 1,093, or 1,200 once the removable tables and seats on the orchestra floor come out to make a standing room, and programmes mostly live comedy and music across its three levels. Postmodern Jukebox, also billed as Scott Bradlee's Postmodern Jukebox, is a rotating musical collective founded in 2011 by the New York-based pianist Scott Bradlee.
