A 2,807-seat performing-arts venue in downtown Seattle, at 9th and Pine, opened on 1 March 1928 as the Seattle Theatre with 3,000 seats. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places and a designated city landmark, it is run by the non-profit Seattle Theatre Group and hosts Broadway, concerts, dance, comedy and more. Postmodern Jukebox, also billed as Scott Bradlee's Postmodern Jukebox, is a rotating musical collective founded in 2011 by the New York-based pianist Scott Bradlee.
