The Crystal Ballroom is a historic dance hall on West Burnside Street in Portland, Oregon, opened in 1914 as Ringler's Cotillion Hall and now run by the McMenamins hospitality group. Famous for its mechanical 'floating' sprung dance floor, it hosts concerts for up to about 1,500 standing. Sammy Rae & The Friends are an American jazz-pop band from Brooklyn led by singer-songwriter Samantha Bowers.
