A 1925 movie palace on Woodward Avenue (the longtime State Theatre), reborn as the Fillmore Detroit — a grand lobby, three tiers, and the annual Detroit Music Awards under its roof. Sabaton is a Swedish power metal band from Falun, formed in 1999 by lead singer Joakim Brodén, bassist Pär Sundström, guitarists Oskar Montelius and Rikard Sundén and drummer Richard Larsson.
