A 5,000-seat tent on the South Boston waterfront, open from May to October. It first went up near Fan Pier in 1994; when the land was needed the whole tensile structure was taken down and re-pitched where it stands now, reopening in 1999. Role Model is the project of American singer Tucker Pillsbury from Portland, Maine, whose confessional bedroom-pop grew into full-band indie pop with albums like Rx and Kansas Anymore.
