A 1936 National Guard armory in downtown Minneapolis, built by the Public Works Administration and on the National Register of Historic Places. It housed the Minneapolis Lakers before the NBA left town, sat through decades of other uses, and is now one of the city's biggest and most striking rooms. Role Model is the project of American singer Tucker Pillsbury from Portland, Maine, whose confessional bedroom-pop grew into full-band indie pop with albums like Rx and Kansas Anymore.
