The details, in daylight
Richard Ashcroft played Englefield House in Reading on 24 July 2026, with Heritage Live in support. This show has already taken place — see Richard Ashcroft's page on KeenToGo for their upcoming dates.
Englefield House is an Elizabethan country house at Englefield, near Reading in Berkshire, largely built before 1558 and remodelled by Thomas Hopper in the 1820s. Its parkland hosts open-air summer concerts, including Heritage Live shows by artists such as Richard Ashcroft. Richard Ashcroft is the Wigan-born voice of The Verve, whose Bitter Sweet Symphony and The Drugs Don't Work remain Britpop's most soaring moments.
