Stifel Theatre is a 3,100-seat civic performing-arts theatre at 1400 Market Street in downtown St. Louis, Missouri. Opened in 1934 as part of the city's Municipal Auditorium and long known as the Kiel Opera House and then the Peabody Opera House, it reopened after a major renovation in 2011 and took its current name in 2018. Ray LaMontagne is an American folk-rock singer-songwriter from New Hampshire whose raspy, soulful debut Trouble (2004) became a modern classic.
