A botanical garden, arboretum and amphitheatre in the Wasatch foothills of Salt Lake City, operated by the University of Utah and open to the public year-round. Its grounds cover more than 100 acres of gardens, with hiking trails through native vegetation and Red Butte Creek running through the north. The outdoor amphitheatre is its stage for live music. Ray LaMontagne is an American folk-rock singer-songwriter from New Hampshire whose raspy, soulful debut Trouble (2004) became a modern classic.
