The F.M. Kirby Center for the Performing Arts is a 1,832-seat Art Deco theatre on Public Square in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. Opened in 1938 as the Comerford Theatre and later known as the Paramount, it took its present name in 1986 and now hosts touring concerts, comedy and Broadway productions. Ray LaMontagne is an American folk-rock singer-songwriter from New Hampshire whose raspy, soulful debut Trouble (2004) became a modern classic.
