Hancher Auditorium is the University of Iowa's flagship performing-arts hall, on the west bank of the Iowa River in Iowa City, Iowa. The original building was wrecked by the catastrophic 2008 Iowa River flood, and its riverfront replacement opened in 2016, presenting touring music, dance and theatre. Punch Brothers are an American string band featuring Chris Thile on mandolin with Brittany Haas, Noam Pikelny, Chris Eldridge and Paul Kowert.
