A music venue at 1026 Spring Garden Street in the Callowhill neighbourhood of Philadelphia, opened on 21 September 2011 as a joint venture between The Bowery Presents and the independent Philadelphia promoter R5 Productions. The 1889 building still carries signage for its first tenant, the Spring Garden Farmer's Market, and housed the Union Transfer Baggage Express Co. from 1918 to 1942. It programmes bands, comedy and other live performance. Peter Hook & The Light is the band of Peter Hook, the pioneering bassist of Joy Division and New Order, formed in Manchester in 2010 to perform those catalogues in full.
