The Dell Music Center is an outdoor amphitheatre in Philadelphia's Fairmount Park, on Strawberry Mansion Drive in the Strawberry Mansion neighbourhood. Run by the city, it is best known for its long-running summer concert series spanning R&B, soul, jazz and gospel. Pavement are the Stockton, California band whose wry, shambling Slanted and Enchanted and Crooked Rain, Crooked Rain made them the defining indie-rock band of the 90s.
