Showbox SoDo is an 1,800-capacity concert hall in Seattle's SoDo district, a few blocks south of Lumen Field and T-Mobile Park. Housed in a converted 1935 warehouse of exposed brick and wood beams, it opened under the Showbox name in 2007 as the larger sibling of the Showbox at the Market. Passion Pit is the electro-pop project of Michael Angelakos, whose falsetto-driven Sleepyhead and Take a Walk defined late-2000s indie dance.
