A movie palace in San Francisco's Castro District, built in 1922 to a design by Timothy L. Pflueger, who also drew Oakland's Paramount Theater. Its architecture mixes Beaux-Arts and Spanish Baroque, and the Art Deco marquee that has become the street's landmark was added in 1937. Orville Peck is the stage name of Daniel Pitout, a South African country musician based in the United States and Canada, widely known for performing masked and not showing his face publicly.
