A 1913 working men's club in Hyde Park, Leeds, reborn as one of Britain's best-loved independent venues. Still a social enterprise with its community-club soul intact, its two 400-cap rooms host everyone from cult heroes to arena acts playing secret shows. Northside are an English alternative rock band from Blackley and Moston in north Manchester, formed in 1989.
