The Akron Civic Theatre is a 1929 atmospheric movie palace on South Main Street in downtown Akron, Ohio, one of only five surviving atmospheric theatres designed by John Eberson. Its auditorium evokes a Moorish garden at night, with a domed ceiling of twinkling stars and drifting clouds.
