A 16,500-capacity amphitheatre in The Woodlands, on Houston's northern edge — known locally as simply 'The Pavilion'. Run as a non-profit by The Center for the Performing Arts at The Woodlands, it splits its summer between touring rock and pop and its own performing-arts season. Ne-Yo is the Arkansas-born R&B hitmaker behind So Sick and Miss Independent, and the pen behind smashes for Beyoncé and Rihanna.
