Inglewood's space-age landmark, opened in 1967 to Charles Luckman's pillar-free design. After decades as LA's sporting cathedral it was reborn as a pure concert arena — 'The Fabulous Forum' remains one of music's great rooms. Mumford & Sons led the folk-rock revival out of West London, with Sigh No More (2009) and the Grammy Album of the Year Babel (2012) turning banjo-driven singalongs into stadium anthems.
